The Dancing Queen, a novel by T.F. Torrey

It's Phoenix, Arizona, 1991, and Jack Trexlor is loving life. He tends bar at a place called Sally's, flirts with a hot dancer named Brandy, and rides a Harley. With another dancer named Raven, Jack also delivers anonymous packages for Rico, a customer at the bar. All is good—until the night the stranger comes in and shakes things up. Suddenly, it's Jack's mission to "save" Brandy from the life she's made, and he wants to take her away and start a new life together. But when he jumps at the chance for a big score with Rico, his new confidant Lulu warns him that he is on the verge of disaster.

She is right.
