Introduction
It took me a long time to work out for myself how my weblog and microblog fit in with my stories and reviews and articles and whatnot. Here's the distinction I developed for myself: My weblog contains updates about my work and my life. My stories and reviews and articles are part of their own larger books. And my microblog is for sharing links and quick thoughts for family, friends, and fans.
I'd prefer to use just Identi.ca, and I'd prefer that we all did, because I love free (as in freedom) software. In the real world, however, most people don't care about most things, so Twitter is currently king, and I have a Twitter account to reach those people as well.
