Books
- The Desert King
Jack Trexlor tends a small bar in Phoenix, Arizona. Recently released from the state mental hospital, he just wants to put the past behind him, work his job, paint his pictures, and stay out of trouble. Unfortunately for Jack, trouble will not leave him alone.- Winter Kills
A terrible crime rips Victor Storm from his early retirement of simplicity and philosophy and pits him against a desperate criminal and an inept bureaucracy on a quest for justice.- First Lies
An anthology of my first short stories, some good, some decent, some drivel. Originally published elsewhere, now available here via Lulu.com.

Elsewhere on the Web
A growing smattering of my work has been published in various places around the web. This list will try to be comprehensive.
- On the Beach
- Compensation
- Billy Vail (zine now defunct)

Books In Progress
- The Broken Jack
- Jack’s quest to get justice for his girlfriend slowly grinds down into a crazy scheme of revenge—and art.
- The Dancing Queen
- Jack Trexlor isn’t looking for trouble, but but he doesn’t seem to be trying very hard to avoid it. He’s riding a motorcycle and working as a bartender in a topless bar. He’s delivering anonymous packages for someone who might be a drug dealer. And he’s falling in love with a hot young exotic dancer. It is clear from the start that the question isn’t if it will all come apart, but when, and how bad it will be when it does.
- Paper Cuts
- A slasher seems to have stepped out of a young writer’s short stories and onto the frozen campus of a New York college.
- Spring Rains
- Victor Storm tries to figure out what he is doing while he escalates his campaign against thugs. He knows he should stop. He knows he is crossing lines. But he’s enjoying himself.
- Taxi Adventure
- My entry in this year’s 3-day novel competition, this is where the project is coming together.
- The Tonto Ten
- Jack finds himself adrift after his adventures in The Desert King, and he returns to Tonto National Forest to find something important he seems to have misplaced: himself.
Other Works
- Crusader
Crusader was the original Victor Storm story, published in serial form by the now-defunct KeepItComing. The series and the serial ended when KIC disappeared, but the character and the story live on in my books about Victor Storm. Go read Winter Kills.
