T.F. Torrey's Things Worth Reading
Welcome to the latest incarnation of my humble website. I'm flattered that you're visiting me, and happy that you might be reading one of my books. After all, that's what I'm all about.
I've totally revamped my website again in the past few days, finally pulling the trigger on a simplified scheme I've been considering for quite a while Things are a little out of sorts at the moment, but the basics are here, and the missing bits will be coming back in the next few days. Please have a look around and let me know what you think.
Thanks for stopping in!
Books
The Desert King
Tonto National Forest is a vast wilderness preserve northeast of Phoenix, Arizona. Imagine being lost there. Imagine being hunted there. That's The Desert King.
Winter Kills
A terrible crime rips Victor Storm from his early retirement of simplicity and philosophy and pits him against a desperate criminal and an inept bureaucracy on a quest for justice.
First Lies
Stories of spirits and souls, demons and devils, cemeteries and ghosts, unexplained phenomena and random violence, imagined and tortured as only a beginning writer can.
Online Projects
Some of my projects are, for the moment anyway, directed more at building online content rather than physical books.
Weblog
My thoughts and observations about writing, reading, publishing, and whatever I want can be found in my weblog.
Reviews
Sometimes (less frequently than I like) I write reviews of books, and I try to keep an organized list of them.

Coming Next
The writing of these books is being finalized, and publication arrangements are being considered. If you are a publisher looking for a solid story, or if you know one you'd like to introduce, this is the right time.
Second Wind
An anthology of ficlets, short stories, and dark imagination.
Coming soon…
The Broken Jack
Readers of The Desert King wonder what the hell happened to Jack. This book will answer that question.
Taxi Adventure
A forgotten briefcase brings a long day of trouble to the offbeat cars and oddball drivers of Taxi Adventure, a taxi tourism company in downtown Phoenix. Race Rivera and his girlfriend Tiara Banks rush to find and return it before the owner runs out of patience—or her father finds out.
The Dancing Queen
Six years after The Desert King, Jack has his biggest adventure yet, maybe ever.
On The Back Burner
These will be the next priority projects, unless someone changes my mind.
Spring Rains
After the drama of Winter Kills, Victor finds himself back in class, and looking for trouble.
Summer Storms
The original Victor Storm story is becoming the third novel in the Crusader series. Slowly.
Paper Cuts
A killer seems to have stepped from the pages of a young writer's short story onto the darkened walkways of a cold college campus in upstate New York, and the only people able to catch him are the author and his friends—except that they're also the prime suspects.
The Stolen Four
Locked away in the crazy house, Jack finds a most unexpected adventure of enlightenment, art, and love.
The Tonto Ten
Following his adventures in The Desert King, Jack is drawn back to the desert, and into another adventure.
